We are currently finishing up 3 more demos for the new record. We recorded the bulk of the music last week and are finishing up some mixes as we speak. After this triplet we have 2 or 3 more still in the pipeline. Let's just say that this ain't going to "short" record, hehe...
We are also excited to be playing at the grand re-opening at Trophy's here in Austin on September 9th. That will be the last show we play before we go into winter hibernation (a.k.a recoding). We hope to have the record out in January and we simply can't wait to get these songs to you guys. We will be playing some of the new material at Trophy's so be sure to check it out...

We hope you enjoy! leroy.godspeed has also set Ransom for Rivercity to footage from the upcoming Richard Linklater film, A Scanner Darkly. You can see that video here.
We will also be taking a brief hiatus from playing out live as I travel back North to get married(!) While I get to play beach bum for a few weeks, the guys will be finishing up and seeding a few more songs for the upcoming record.

Unfortunately we have some not so exciting news. We had to cancel our show on the 7th (this Friday) at Trophy’s because of some health problems. But it’s nothing to be concerned with; routine medical miracles should clear it up and we hope to be back to 100% in the next coming weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you all soon.
